One board, every space

JPD's board is locked to one JPD space. To span multiple spaces you have to upgrade to Premium and promote every relevant field to a Global Field. BetterBoard puts one configurable board on top of any Jira space — Software, Service, or JPD — and lets a single board span any combination.

Works on JPD spaces too

BetterBoard runs on every Jira space type. Drop it onto a JPD space and you get the same flexible board with all your custom fields, inline editing, and bulk actions — without leaving the space.

JPD's cross-space board only exists inside Premium Roadmaps — and only system + Global Fields show up. BetterBoard combines any number of spaces on one board with every field intact, on any plan.

Editing on the board, not next to it

JPD's board is mostly read-only — to change a field you open the detail panel. BetterBoard keeps every edit on the card itself: click a chip to update it, select multiple cards to bulk update, ⌘K to do anything else.

JPD's filter builder is a few operators per field type — Atlassian still lists "advanced filtering" as planned. BetterBoard ships with 25+ operators today: ranges, contains, empty/non-empty, in/not-in, before/after — across every field.

Every field type has its full operator set — text supports contains and matches, dates support relative ranges, options support in/not-in. No JQL required.

Multi-level sort

Order by priority first, then by due date, then by story points. Stack as many sort levels as your workflow needs — across any field.
